Dear Hackensack Public Schools Community,

Today, we take a moment to honor and thank the incredible individuals who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As we go about our day and week, let’s take time to recognize a colleague, family member, friend, or loved one who has served—whether during times of peace or in moments of great challenge. A simple “thank you” can mean so much to those who have given so much. We also acknowledge those who are not with us today, but who also demonstrated great sacrifice. 

To all our veterans (especially those working in our schools today): we are deeply grateful for your service, your strength, and your unwavering commitment to our country. We honor you today and every day.
